coyote
« on: November 30, 2018, 07:49:32 PM »

Took this old female last week.  I was set up against the power pole in the background.  With the first blow of my mouth call, I saw this, and one other peeling out, coming my way!

They were probably a quarter mile away, and immediately dropped from view, giving me plenty of time to get ready for them.  In a couple of minutes this one appeared, and stood broadside at about 75 yards...looking for the prey.  I momentarily considered waiting for the second one to show, but decided it was too risky.  50 grain v-max, from the .222 hit solid, just front of the shoulder, no exit.

It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

Sarcasm: The ability to insult stupid people without them realizing it.

My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity...

Sarcasm makes smart people laugh and stupid people mad.
