Good points.

A few others:

PS shuts down with an inch or so of snow.  This is a normal occurrence.  Even a stiff rain can set things awty.

Rain routinely shuts down rail traffic with slides.

Yes, relief efforts would be focused on population centers.  So would societal unrest.

No two apocalypses are the same, but it helps to look at parallels to recent history.

The guns I carry in my trucks get cycled around but it's always between the same ones. Either a no-dash 686 in .357, a .45 Colt single action or a Glock 10mm (most recently it's been the Glock). With a few speed loaders or magazines and a box or so worth of loose cartridges plus some snakeshot for the revolvers.
Rifles are either a Ruger GSR, Winchester 94AE Trapper in .30-30 or a Winchester 1895 in .30-06 (usually the .30-06). I keep a magazine or two loaded for the GSR the other two just get a couple boxes of loose rounds in the console.

Ruger Old Army of course! Plenty of bullet lead from wheel weights off people’s abandoned cars. Load it with anything, BP, Pyro, Smokeless, it doesnt care (Bill Ruger proved that years ago). 10000 caps in a sandwich bag. Loaded for life!

Good choice as you can make your own black powder.

Myself...Why would I leave? My arsenal is here and I have a lot of liberals living in the area, I will just take what I need from them!
That's my one shot.

You know your hunt went well when you had a shot that was unethical and you never took it, even if you never got your bull.

For national collapse due to overwhelming social disorder it might be better to be in a urban area, you will get aid.

Doubt that for any West coast city.

Seattle panics when there is a little snow on the ground.

If the highways are blocked then the trucks won't be able to get in.

If there is a disaster then everyone in Seattle will try to flee to their rural friend/relative's house. The roads will lock up and people will panic. Criminals will immediately exploit the unarmed Seattle libs. Not going to be pretty.
