I sooo thought this thread was going somewhere else - like here..... (an oldie but a goodie)
You tune for torque by making fine adjustments to the rest. You don't think that you will release the arrow the same as I do? You ever shot a bow through paper than have someone else fire an arrow with your bow through paper and see a different tear? Granted I'm not a paper fan. Some bows will show a more drastic difference from shooter to shooter than others. I had an allegience that was giving me fits. Took it down to let Rod at wholesale mess with it. We both shot it through paper and got two different tears. He had me a try a different release and got yet another tear. We held the bow different. To account for the different amount of torque we applied to the bow. Adjustments to the rest were necessary. I doubt to many people will be able to release as clean as a machine. But what ever gives you confidence and helps you hit what you are aiming at.
