They only eat the sick injured, weak, calves while their footage is of a pack bringing down a 6 point bull. He must have been sick. Leftist hit piece.

Thought it was a pretty poorly done piece as well. They were painting a pro wolf picture, not the whole picture.

I can't believe anyone wwould really expect for 60 Minutes to produce anything close to factual and balanced.

I quit watching it about 20 years ago. Do people still watch it?

After I heard about it here I was planning on watching.
After I saw the trailer on tv Sunday afternoon I decided not to; it looked like obvious propaganda.

I have it recorded and am going to watch it in a couple of weeks when my daughter is home for a visit.

Since she is a pro-wolfer who works for Yellowstone NP...… I am sure we are going to have a great discussion.

Sounds like it was the typical 60 Minutes propaganda piece...

I love the 7:30 mark where the wolf pack is killing a 300" 6x6 and the Yellowstone park bio is talking about how they target the weak and the sick and the old and the calves.

X2

I took a chance and was reminded again why 60 minutes, sucks.

They couldn't have gotten anyone worse to interview about wolves, except maybe fitkin.

Any time you have the likes of Doug Smith yapping it up, you know you are only going to get lies and I love wolves slop.

Too bad 60 Minutes didn't report on how the USFWS and IDFG illegally dumped wolves in the Yellowstone and Idaho etc..

Dump wolves on the American people and then protect them above all else-Government Tyranny at it's finest?

Meanwhile I glassed a range where Id normally come up with 30 plus bucks on a slow day and over 300 deer.  I found 6. 6 deer that is, no bucks.  Some ravens were working a kill.  I figured our furry friends were about somewhere.   24 hours later I got an email from my Dad saying I missed them.  Three wolves were spotted running by where the kill had been.  He said a much larger one running with two that looked younger.   I hate change.   Maybe I should do a wolf calendar next year.  I'm sure Id sell more. LOL

However if asked for the exact coordinates, unlike my deer I might be so inclined to even include a map with a red X marks the spot.
Ill include a disclaimer..."Use the information as you see fit."  :chuckle:

It looks pretty bleak for the deer in the Methow, we have watched it happen year after year while Fitkin ran to the papers with his BS deer reports.

Eleven wolves were seen in Elbow Coulee about a week ago, and five have been reported over on lower Balky, another report of seven down by Black Canyon.

Wolves are finishing up the deer etc..
