Pleasantly surprised
« on: December 21, 2018, 12:23:00 PM »
About 15 years ago I took my nephew to get his hunters certification. We went hunting that same year. I guess it wasn’t his thing for deer hunting or anything else so I never brought it up again. Found out that he met a guy from his work that is an avid waterfowler. This has his attention. Every chance he gets he tries to go with his buddy or by him self. He’s hooked 🤑🤑. In fact he called me to tell me he has a Chesapeake Bay retriever on order to be picked up 1 January. His goal is to get it trained for the following year. So glad that he’s taking advantage of the pnw and what it has to offer.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

You planted the seed, some seeds just take longer to sprout.  8)

That would be a great feeling. Sometimes you never know what A little growing up will do for a young man. Good on you!

It’s great seeing him jumping in with both feet. This is his future hunting partner.

Cute pup!  But it is so light in color I'd have thought golden retriever seeing the pic, until you said he was getting a chessie.
