Late archery elk in 163 - worth it?
« on: January 02, 2019, 08:21:43 PM »
I live in Tacoma and am thinking of taking the trip out there for a long weekend to get one more shot at a cow. Is it worth the long drive to hunt the late season there? Any insights are appreciated.

If you have access to private land, where the elk will be if they are there.

And with the lack of snow so far i wouldn't expect very many to be in that unit

Thanks for the reply. I’ll keep an eye on the snow level out there. Probably wouldn’t head out until the last week or two anyway.
