Finally built my AR.
« on: January 06, 2019, 07:30:23 PM »
Been dreaming of this build for about 5 years, or should I say, "Planning this build "....  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
Did the Hydro Dilling myself and I like the way it turned out
AR Stoner 18" fluted barrel, 1 in 8 twist, AR Stoner upper and lower, with 12" free floating hand gaurd.

Nice.

I'd be afraid to try such a unique design, but it really turned out nice.

A unique and cool build.

Oh I was....... did some practice dipping on other items first. Made mistakes, learned from.them, and crossed my fingers I didn't screw up.... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:  but in the end, it came out well. I didn't want to have to strip it down and start over, did that on other practice items, like my 9mm Shield  :bash:

That pattern is awesome. I'm assuming 5.56/.223?

The base coat will change the look of the pattern.  Here is my Shiel and spotlight I dipped, both same pattern, Smiled has  a tan base coat, Spotlight has a white base coat.

Looks good
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!
