Thanks guys- really no reason to think something would happen, just extra cautious with something that can't be replaced.

I guess rules are rules...

I'll mirror what guys say about their book, also as a warning I paid the $25 to have them submit my score sheet to P&Y and it never made it to them. Don't care about the book but I would like my $25 back!!
Shut up and Hunt!

I think the racks are safe.  I'll give you my experience, rack measured about 3" shorter than others had measured due to G1 (they told me they don't go back and remeasure).  My animal took 3rd in show, then bumped to 2nd due to fraud on the first place rack.  I didn't care about that much, but the "prize" that I won was a pair of Bushnell Fusion binos that were at end of life.  The lens coatings were scratched up, I tried contacting H&H a couple of times with no reply.  Bushnell, couldn't repair, so I have a heavy rangeing binos that are good for the west side density.

Is stuff safe, yes

Is it all about $25 and selling books, yes

I’m in the same boat as huntemup, debating bringing my archery bull from this year  to the show, or just get it scored by someone else. I am an hour and a half away from the show, so I’d have to make two trips up.

If I  remember right, the only time I remember hearing about something being stolen is a ram mount.... but was taken out of owners truck while in the show. 6 or 7 years ago maybe?????
And he got it back too.

I took 1st place for archery mule deer a few years back.  The prize that year was minimal, I won a soft rifle case and a blue ribbon.

Had a few sheds scored, they seemed pretty thurogh making sure you were the owner when I picked them up. And I got to talk to Amy Spoon for a few minutes, so that was cool.

I heard they were doing pick ups at the Yellabeak this year. Just leave it in the truck.

Even if someone does steal a rack, why would they take this one?

There will be plenty of other racks to steal......   MUCH smaller and easier to hide.

I wouldn’t worry. Dave takes good care of the animals entered. We’ve brought over 30 heads in over the years and never had an issue. And a few being BC animals

Never had a problem.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
