Seems like the solution is as simple as it's always been: answer "It's none of your business."

If you answer that way they will mark you down as a yes. The answer is you lie to that question and say no.

I like honesty.. "I bought a handgun after I was surrounded in an alley by a dozen Mexican gangbangers then I bought an AR-15 after three drug dealing, gangbanging, border jumpers tried to kill me."

"Not to worry Doc. I plan on selling them once the last "criminal border jumping alien" is deported and I feel safe again."
