Idaho Elk/deer 2019

I am considering taking advantage of the Idaho reduced fees for disabled vets. I am curious if anyone can provide some hunt advice/areas near the Pullman or Spokane area in Idaho. I have never hunted this area so I am totally new. Any advice would be helpful.
