I have a Leer on my 2010 Tacoma long bed.  I hate it.  the center handle to unlock the rear freezes to the glass every time it gets much below freezing.  I have to keep a bottle of alcohol in the truck so I can get in my cab.  The rear glass has fancy hinges that look great, but when the window is open, there is a 2" gap between the fiberglass and the now tilted window that dumps all of the rain it can catch right into the bed of the truck.  Think of winter steelhead weather getting your waders off and such.  The sliding windows (my bad, I could have paid more) suck, as you have to kneel in the bed to unlatch the slider., get the "pop out" type window.  Of course it leaks......

I have an are on my tacoma and there are significant gaps in the corners above tailgate that let water in.  Ive checked out leer and snugtop canopys on coworkers trucks and dont see that problem.  Knowing what i know now i would not have gotten the are
Same.
I think it’s a Toyota issue.
I have a Leer on my F150 and paid to have the electric locks wired to my Ford fob.
Best option ever!

Snugtop for me on my last three silverados and no big issues.

My uncle, jdhasty didn’t have nearly as good of luck with snugtop. They gave him the run around and he wanted to give them a hickory shampoo.

I have a leer, its decent, but not great
I understand they are built a little more solid now a days
The one thing I would reccomend is some windows that open from the outside, to where you can reach gear in the front of the truck bed without climbing through the back, mine does not do this and I hate it.

I have a leer 100xr on my 2103 gmc sierra 1500. Its only been on for 2 week but I like it so far. Like was mentioned before, when you open the rear glass it will dump water into the bed with that gap.
Practical accuracy and a packable rifle.

Make a pole hook.  Get a closet rod/dowl, drill a pilot hole in one end, thread in a bicycle hook (the kind you use to hang a bike in a garage) screw the hook in the end of the dowel, cut to length and there you go!  I never climb in my bed for anything anymore and if it breaks so what...about $10 to make another one!

I had a Leer, won't own another.  SnugTop arrives next week so we'll see?

I use a hoe to grab gear i can't reach and open/close windows. My buddies laughed until they saw how well it works.
