Reading the proposed bill, it looks like they talk about both pesticides and herbicides.
Myself and some friends have been, researching this bill.the number comes up for child support, can we get some clarity on this?
I really don't see why timber companies would be opposed to this. The public has very little understanding of chemicals and how they work, and a broad group of interests getting together and discussing and highlighting the facts should put the public's mind at ease. Not being able to educate the public has always been a problem. Chemicals are scary when you don't understand them, and the problem has been that if you cant teach someone something in about 30 seconds their eyes glaze over. It also takes at least some background in biology/chemistry to think critically on it and not suspect someones blowing smoke. There is a lot of misinformation out there, hopefully this group will alleviate the tensions and correct the record.I can see there being the potential of it being like the wolf group though where it doesnt matter what science is presented, the sides are already dug in with preconceived notions with their own end goals in mind.
