Some form of county management is probably going to be the only way to deal with WDFW, an agency that frankly don't give a damn about Eastern Washington wildlife or it's people. All that matters to this inept agency is keeping west side predator lovers happy!

So what I saw is that probably some of the commissioners would do their job gladly, however I believe the commission is fed a steady diet of misinformation by wdfw.  WDFW agenda wont let commissioners wander by individual moral or ethical ideology.  They are manipulated for the agenda by wdfw management.

From the WAC I have read that I am interested in the WDFW is not adhering to those. Who insures they are held accountable??  Perhaps the tree hugger/climate change governor.

I have to say something in support of the commission, they did try to increase cougar tags by 10% or something like that a couple years ago and the governor overruled their decision. Really we don't have much chance of improving predator management in WA until Inslee becomes president!  :dunno:

That's a fact but I sure wouldn't want that clown as a president. He would have every murder on parole and the USFW would fall under PETA leadership. I contacted Inslee about that over turning of the cougar tag increase and got no response. Maybe due the fact he sent the Sierra Club a personal letter when he did so and I called him out on it. Another case where its going to have to fall in the hands of the hunters.

I think the cut in doe tags is good but buck management is just as important. If there are no bucks to breed the does, what good does it do to have a ton of does? The buck numbers seem to be pretty bad. You don’t see many quality bucks anymore. I really thought that 4 pt rule was great. You saw more deer and it seemed you saw more bigger bucks.

But before any of that can happen. Something needs to be done about predators. I know we all hate wolves but to me the cougar population is booming and a bigger problem. Everyone I know in the NE has a cougar story. Whether it’s a story of sheep being killed to a cougar killing a deer while the kids are playing outside. It sucks that WDFW is controlled by idiots and we are watching any quality hunting we have left going out the window.
Support WWA.

Coming from Minnesota where we didn't have a ton of predators because we the hunters kept them in check have over a million white tail deer roaming the state. We definitely need to keep the wolves and cougars in check and make sure they are not destroying the deer population.

Hunters and trappers can only "keep them in check" when it's a goal of the agency.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

The NE WA Wildlife Group meets on March 27 at 6:30 PM at the Chewelah Casino.  They hope to have a PA system.  Pretty hard to hear in the back last month.

2600+ wolves isn't a lot of predators?

Way too late for that with no signs of being able to do it any time soon......
