Gun advocates target State Attorney General Bob Ferguson

Eastern Washington gun owners and 2nd Amendment advocates are collecting affidavits in a push to bring criminal charges against State Attorney General Bob Ferguson.
The affidavits may also be used in civil actions against Ferguson for using his office to violate constitutional rights to keep and bear arms.

They will be collected at rallies in Spokane and Colville on March 2 and 9, respectively.
The “Spokane Strikes Back” is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Sharp Shooting Indoor Range and Gun Shop, 1200 N. Freya Way. Affidavits will be collected until 4 p.m. at the Spokane store.
The Spokane rally is a precursor to the “Washington Strikes Back” rally set for 1 p.m. March 9 in the Rendezvous Theater of Spokane Community College-Colville, 985 S. Elm St.
During the rallies, Affidavits of Complaining Witness will be available for state residents to fill out.
The affidavits will be used to request formal charges be brought against Ferguson efforts that have “deprived you of your rights or harmed you in any way,” organizers said, noting they may also be used in civil litigation against Ferguson. A notary will be on-site to notarize the form for court filing.
The Spokane event is being organized by American Patriots 3%, Spokane Concealed Carry, and the 63rd and 65th Lightfoot Militias.

Not a crime under WA law.

Only constitutional right criminal charge is 18 USC 242 which is a federal law and you'd need one of the US Attorneys for WA to charge him on that.

A civil suit would be the way to go

I dont know but perhaps he should shoot a little lower like the state level?  What about Saul Spady of Dicks burgers? It was rumored he may run for City Council... it may be a bit of a stretch for him but at least he had enough sense to speak out about the head tax...

Like Trump, I think Howard Schultz has to go national.   Both of them are pretty reviled in their home towns.   Schultz would be dogged by Sonic fans at all state level election stops.

Mr.Ferguson has a bad tendency of abusing his position for his personal political views. In my opinion he has not been equally serving ALL types of people of Washington state. He’ll break his neck going after conservative types but ignores all others. A few weeks ago I heard Ferguson and another representative on the radio announce that in King county if an illegal immigrant gets in any illegal trouble the state or county will NOT prosecute them because they might get deported. I know that’s not 2nd amendment related but it’s one example of his rogue ways of not keeping the residents of Washington state safe.

How about, “Conspiring with democrats to deprive WA state citizens of their constitutional right to keep and bear arms.”
Maybe he and they could be charged with racketeering. We should be able to hang some kind of charge on them. What they are trying to do seems like a crime to me.
