I've been thinking about picking up a pair of those.  I can't see spending big bucks on a koke rod and using regular rods I think I miss a bunch of bites.

they are very soft mouth and tear out easy, and they are salmon so they are poor catchers, always run the 2nd rear trailing hook about 1-1.5" behind the lure, sharp hooks and not too big, those suggestions should make a big difference

I picked up a couple of those rods last year.
They are insane fun!
Good luck and have fun.

I’ll keep an eye out. I’ve been using light spinning rods to get something light enough. I just can’t even get close to justifying a high end expensive rod for tiny fish and downrigger.

I purchased one and tried to take it back after it snapped off above the handle. They lost my business
