It’s youth opener. Already hearing gobbles and it’s not even 5 am
Taking my daughter on her first turkey hunt and my nieces out today.

Birds were very vocal this morning! The birds we were working got scared out of the meadow we were in by a couple other hunters. But oh well it's public land, we will get back at the birds sooner or later. Good luck tomorrow everyone!

We only heard 2 gobbles today. Birds we saw were just milling around. Maybe tomorrow

We had a tuff time. A few inches of snow and rain made things difficult. On the bright side we were able to call in 2 but could not close the deal. There is always next weekend
