AR15 trigger options?

I have used lots of different AR triggers, by far best bang for your buck, heck, better than a lot more expensive triggers is the Rock River Arms varmint match trigger.  It's a winner, especially at under $100

Thank you all for the options so far.  This thread is a prime example of why this AR stuff is so confusing   bolt guns are so much better   seriously though, the AR is such a versatile and amazing platform, especially for small shooters such as my daughter.

Being a bolt gun guy Karl, I would think you would like one of the 3lb single stage drop ins?🤷‍♂️ That’s what I will be putting in my Grendel if I ever finish it!🤦‍♂️

right that was gonna be my initial purchase but then got digging into the bottomless pit of AR crap lol.  I'm not so concerned about the price tag but dont wanna spend 2 bills if 1 will get me the same thing kind of deal

Polishing my mil spec trigger took it down to 3.5 lbs.  took about half hour. It’s not as nice as my timmeny but cut the pull weight to less than half.

I have CMC single stage 3.5s in both my go to rifles and they are awesome. I would definitely recommend checking them out. Great company, made in America and customer support is top notch.

But I got no problem sanding and polishing ar trigger.Just like changing a tire.

Some of the stock mil spec triggers aren't bad. Likewise I think some of the $200 triggers are overrated for the price.

You can find $500 ARs that will shoot sub-moa out of the box. But there seems to be a lingering myth that you need a $200 trigger to print clover holes.

I also think 2 stage triggers are weird on a semi but that's just a personal preference.

Triggers make all the difference in the world.  I shoot well north of 5k rounds of centerfire a year. There is no argument that can be made that will convince me that a light, crisp trigger will not improve accuracy over a sloppy stiff trigger.  A good trigger can take an moa rifle and shrink it to half

Well I went ahead and bought dan-o's extra larue and I also ordered a cmc 2.5lb single stage.  Whichever she likes better I'll leave in her lower and then i'll toss the other in my prairie dog rifle to replace the polished mil spec one that's in it   thanks for all the suggestions everyone
