How about the enviro's reimburse the cattlemen for full value of the cattle killed and the significant loss of weight gain in the whole herd!  :twocents:

This ought to provide a pretty good clue to people of the future. The animal rights groups are quite happy to go along with compromise as long as they are not asked to give anything up.
Do you really think they are going to be OK with ever opening a hunting season? Lawsuits are inevitable. Blowing the budget on a facilitator only puts off the clash.

Most people have figured out by now, that calling WDF$Wolves over livestock predation will only prolong their livestock losses. In the Okanogan etc. people are taking care of wolf problems themselves.

The Diamond M Ranch and a few others who expected WDFW to be honest were sadly shown that upper management was/is corrupt to the core, and in bed with the fake environmentalists.

A good example is the Methow where both the USFWS and WDFW lied about a cow and calf killed by wolves, WDFW have lied on several occasions over predation on livestock and attacks on dogs.

People are beginning to understand there is an Agenda behind the uncontrolled predators and it does not favor rural communities, public predator control is the new norm, it will be the only management WA will get.

While we discuss livestock predation, where is the accountability for the slaughter of the ungulates? How far must the ungulates herds drop before WDFW recognize the impact uncontrolled predation are having on the game herds?

Will WDFW's corrupt upper management and their bogus predator loving biologists ever be held accountable?


"The producer losing cattle to the wolves, Len McIrvin of the Diamond M Ranch, said Thursday the pack killed about 30 calves and a half dozen cows last year. Every time Fish and Wildlife has removed wolves, it's left some to continue preying on cattle, he said. "The department has never done a thorough job."

The resources WDFW puts into wolf issues is sickening.
