The crows and ravens were so happy to see us back.  They were circling and calling the whole time we were putting the baits in.  :)

Why are you stuffing the holes full of branches. Is it to try to keep the small critters out or just make the bears work harder?

Crows and Ravens will hammer the baits.  They do it anyways after the bears pull the sticks out, then daylight rolls in and they go to work.  Sometime I'll have 30 crows on the bait, in and out of the barrel all day long.  They get fat.  :)

Ravens are especially bad, they are the big time "camp robbers"!  :chuckle:
