I see in the final budget $700,000 in Discover pass funds for the DNR was transferred to the general fund. Where have we seen this bait-and-switch before? Now the precedent is set.
I would think WDFW should've been fighting for that money. They were getting 8% of Discover Pass funds from what I remember. The pass for DNR lands was mostly being bought by hunters and fishermen. The state parks were getting 84%, but I think that was mostly for the pass sold for park users.Big Tex?Probably going to use it for an illegal alien voter registration drive.
and what percentage to the general fund?
What actually made the budget: DNR will see lower revenues because $750,000 from Discover Pass revenues was transferred to the state’s general fund. The agency is still grappling with what this means.
WDFW makes me sick they are a true joke no help to any hunters at all

Just reaffirms my decision to stop buying any hunting licenses in this State several years ago. We now have a confirmed black bear on Whidbey Island so predators continue to do well....
