Carried an old well worn 3 screw 41 mag back when I guided for bear. Always loaded with hard cast, wide meplat loads. Only used it on bears a couple times with good, bone breaking results. Now it's one of either 44mag, 454 Casull, or the big 50 cal S&W that go with me now.

Nice bear, but that looks like a Super Redhawk, not a 3 screw Blackhawk.
Yes, it's a Super in 454Casull from a few years back. Will try to dig thru the old pics later of the Blackhawk

Looking thru old pics, this is what I could find Yorke. Packing a decent boar out of a hole in the Methow. Dispatched with the .411, up close after taking several 338 win mags. Follow up was close and tight..as follow ups typically were..on the hip in the rear.
That Sword is more important than the Shield!
