Drew ID Moose tag
« on: June 02, 2019, 09:47:49 PM »
Drew the Idaho unit 2 moose tag! I’ve been told anything over 40 inches will be a good bull taken in that unit. Any advice would be great! Season is Sept 15-Dec 1st.

That’s a great tag. There are some great bulls in that area. I think that you have the opportunity to shoot moose over 40 in there...I don’t have pics of anything above that size but I have seen them.

I live in the unit and will be spending a good amount of time in it this summer and possibly fall.  If I see anything I will let you know if you want to send me your number.

congrats! the moose numbers in 2 are good. I would definitely hold out for 40 inch or better. Especially since you have the 3 month tag

Wow! That sure is a nice warm welcome. Thank you. I live in the Twin Lakes area so I'm super pumped to draw in this unit. I'll be sure to share pictures during the hunt and keep everybody up to speed. Look forward to being apart of this forum as it looks like there are some great people on here! Thanks a ton :)
