i met a guy that clears over 100k a year catching those dam things, know what he told me? NOTHING!
Is that what this is? Mom caught it out at Lake Merwin few weeks ago off powereggs.
8700 is a big bunch of fish. If you went out 200 days, you would have to catch over 43 fish each day. I wonder if a guy would get so he dreaded going out after a while of that?

He treated it like a full time job, on the water all day, every day. It sounded like he was pretty burnt out on the whole thing. I can’t remember all the specifics, but this guy was not doing it for fun anymore.

I've got a few random ones fishing salmon on the reach, usually bouncing eggs. I've heard everything from cut bait to toothpaste for bait. I think the guys that do really well fish all night, and its an 80/hr week job. Supposedly some kid put himself through school having his mom drop him in the river at vernita and pulling out in Richland. Probably the same guy clearing 100k every year. That's supposed to be the hot area though.
I caught the biggest SQUAWFISH I have ever seen yesterday. I didn't realize they got that big, I'll post a pic later. Thing was 18"+
