Drew Cow Tag-Do I need new Rifle?

I drew a WML Winston Cow tag. So I am debating with myself if I need a new Rifle. I currently own 7 Muzzle Loaders. Five are side lock old school percussion and I have two T/C Black Diamond in-lines. One is set up to use the 209 shotgun primers.

I like and handled one of the new CVA's but, really don't see much advantage over my Black Diamonds except Quick removal breech plug.

It really is hard to beat a Black Diamond!  Not all things old need to be replaced if they have been taken care of, especially if you are only occasionally using them.

I own three black diamond XR's and wouldn't choose any other muzzy.  The black diamond has been a proven performer!!!!! 

With that said....buy another and add it to the collection if you really want......

Then you really need to look at a new Knight Ulite with a Nitride finish!!! O Man!



This is Western ULIte - which I really wish I gotten with the Nitride finish



Even shooting clay pigeon chips at 100 yds... is very doable with open sights

Correct, I did read it correctly and then did suggest if you were or anybody else were going looking for another rifle then... O man what a rifle it is!!!!

Got it,It is a fine rifle.I really like my CVA ACCURA BEST BALANCED muzzy i ever held.

IF you ever get a chance maybe at a Sportsman WHSE. some place - take a chance and pick up a ULite and feel the balance it has you might really be surprised.  Actually if you have a Tikki Lite or handled a Tikka Lite - it is pretty much just like that feel.

If you own 7 muzzleloaders already the real issue is finding an elk to shoot. I would recommend that along with a lot of range practice with your favorite muzzy...

I think I will use my Black Diamond XR. Its already set up with peep sight for my old eyes.
