I have one on my 458 lott. The acucupoint triangle green post reticle model. It has been solid and is clear and tracks good. I am pretty die hard leupold but wanted to give one a shot for the big bore rifles. I like it so far.

I saw some negative on the accupower on the big bore guns so I decided to go the traditional route.

how do you think the green and triangle post would fair for hunting western wa, estern wa, and idaho? mostly with all the different backgrounds. i keep going back and forth on that one in green or red and the duplex in green. from what ive found on the web green seems to be the favorite by far

Green hands down for me. I looked at both and green is what my eye liked.

The triangle is great for fast shots. You could use the tip for more precision shots but I would favor a duplex for anything 200+

Welcome and I think its a killer choice for a west side scope. I really wanted one on my 450 bushmaster but got to good of deal on the leupold 450 scope with dials for the 450 so went that route.
