Wenaha backpacking trip
« on: August 08, 2019, 04:11:31 AM »
Heading into the wenaha this weekend, gonna go chase the bulls and rainbows around for a couple days.  Leaving here in about an hour, hopefully have some luck with the bulls this time.  Last year when we went in, we caught a bunch of small rainbows but no bull trout.  Gonna be an adventure regardless!  I'll post pics when we get back

Trip was all in all a success I would say, definitely a good hike in and out.  Not for the out of shape for sure.  Got chased out a day early by the thunderstorms, ended up hiking out in the dark, but didn't get too wet.

Only heard one rattle in the brush after we had passed.  We were prepared with snakeshot in our pistols but never had to use it.  Was glad cause i brought my pup and really didn't want to see him get bit haha
