No Winston late archery Elk huh?
« on: September 20, 2019, 09:49:45 PM »
Was flipping through the regs trying to decide where I want to spend my time for westside late archery elk. In the past I’ve hunted Winston. Doesn’t appear to be an option this year. I double checked on the regulation corrections and it doesn’t appear to be an error.

FYI!
Every thought of my being is in regards to being a high tech predator and I relish the role.

Just realized last years regs were the same with no late archery elk in the Winston. I had a Muzzleloader tag last year and wasn’t keyed into the archery regs. After reading through the District hunting prospects and 2018 Game  status and trend report it appears management objective was reached by a number of factors and the liberal cow hunts ended. Makes sense. This is probably not news to anybody. I’m just late to the party.

Yeah, and what a party it was!
I think everyone showed up at one time or another.

It's dead, like a ghost town.
