If you do go there to hunt and have Wayco permit let me know. I hunt there during the archery season and then stayed there a week after just try to locate them. Can share some info.

No, not that good, was slow, but i made them talk and had few close calls. I desided  to stay one more week (came back home yesterday) just to see when the real rut activities will start, to my surprise seems like it's just get started toward the end of this week.

That sounds about right with the weather. Would appreciate any Intel you could send my way. Will be out in the morning doing some looking around.

I did manage to find a good size bull 6×6 this past Wednesday, not wide but tall, good for that unit probably the biggest I've ever seen there so far. That bull has 11 cows. Get him to fired up by talking to his ladies, at the end he got really upset then the wind started  changing direction i immediately left. After that I watched them for two days from the safe distance keeping the wind in my face all the time. On Thursday he started chasing one particular cow (she was not happy at all) she was probably getting in estrous. Based on that observation i think somewhere on this following week would be the peak of the rut at least for that area. Muzzie season starts in a week should be a good time.
