Photo Wizards...I need help
« on: April 05, 2009, 10:19:23 PM »
Hey all you guys that are wizards at doctoring up photos, I have two turkey pictures with the same mountain in the background. You can see the mountain fine with your eye, clear as day, but when you take the pic, it doesn't show. Unfortunately the first pic is pre-digital, and cannot be fixed (right?). But the second it can be seen. I would love to be able to see the mountain, I think it would make a great pic. Is there anything you guys can or would be willing to do? Thanks a bunch. Oh and any tips on making it show without doctoring it up, like camera settings. I'm an idiot when it comes to camera work, and I don't have super fancy camera, but any tips would help. Oh and the mtn is right over my head.

Damn, it says my file is too large. What now? Technology is getting the better of me.

My best guess is that you can't see the mountain because it's out of focus, right?  If that is the case, put your aperture up to about f16 and shoot the shot.  Focus on the foreground subject like you with your turkey and what's behind it will be in decent focus at f16.  You can email me if you would like as well

His problem Shawn is the sky and tops of the mountains are blown out, I cleaned it up as best I could but they are small files as well.

Yep, for sure. Any ideas for making Hood show up for future pictures?
