Tent suggestions

We hunt spring bear and it’s fine for a better tent. We have camp trailers and a inclosed trailer for different occasions.
But our spring bear early hunt this year will require a better tent
Roomy
Waterproof
Stand up heighth
Don’t want to spend all night setting it up

Any suggestions??

I don't have one yet but I've been looking at a tipi tent from Seek Outside. Said to be quick and easy to set up, even with only one person, and they're made with a stove jack so you can use a wood stove. And, made in the USA.

I love the tent. Stupid easy to put up in under 10 minutes solo.

Love my Kodiak Canvas flex bow 10x14.  Easy to set up, easy to maintain and it's easy to heat with a buddy heater tied to a 5-7 gallon propane tank.

I have had a Cabelas West Wind 8-man, 12’ x 14’ tent for about 8 years it has been a fantastic tent. I use a Little Buddy heater when it gets below freezing or a Vornado electric heater if hooked to power. Have had three guys with cots and gear for a week. We were snug but manageable. Two it is perfect with tons of room. The last five years I have been solo, and have excess room even with a reading chair during foul weather. The vestibule is great for keeping nasty boots out of the tent and storing coolers and extra propane tanks.
This year I had a very loud rain storm come through with 30 mph sustained winds and 50 mph gusts that lasted from 10:00pm until 6:00am. I got no sleep with how it battered the Tent, but it came through with no damage at all.
This has been one of my Best Buy’s in hunting gear.

  92, your last post about your tent you indicated you may be retiring it this year, seems kind of soon for the quality of tent and all the modifications you made, I'm curious why you'd move on from it. Thanks for linking that old thread, lots of very good insight.

With a 1 year old, 3 year old and 3 dogs over 75 pounds, the wife wanted something a little bigger.
I still have the tent.  It's in fantastic shape still and no issues with it.  I did not use it this year though, which is what I figured would happen and why I mentioned retiring it from my use.  I have thought about posting it for sale a dozen times but I delete the thread thinking I better hand on to it, just in case, because I love the thing so much.

I love my alaknak. I was going to go with the kodiak canvas, but needed more room.
I can have it set up in 20-25 min, if in really getting after it. Typically it's a 30 min thing though.

I have a 15x18 wall tent and a 10x14 kodiak flex bow for anything less than 55 days.  I love the Kodiak tent for easy, quick set up.  It was especially nice for our Idaho trip when we had to move as we learned the area.  Quick easy set up and tear down.  Plenty of room for 2 people in cots.  We had 3 comfortably durring out spring bear camp but it did limit room for chairs and a small table.  Last year was my first year with mines but the quality appears to be good.

Thanks for the explanation 92, I wouldn't sell your setup unless I was hurting for $, of course that's coming from someone with a cheap tent I bought in the mid-90's...
