That Dog deserves a funeral procession as wide as the state for protecting and dieing in the line of duty.

They are great guardians, but even a pair is no match for a pack. Remember, these things can take down elk and even moose!

They are great dogs.   2 were needed, it changes things for the better.   They need a Fila imop, 2-4 of em.

I hate hearing about folks sticking out a single guard dog and it gets eviscerated.

Ya, but its still relevant...if anything its even more relevant as there's more wolves and ranches are in the calving season now and thinking forward to grazing season...and guardian dogs.

It would be nice to get this message out to all those who'd stick a single guardian dog out among wolves, it would be a death sentence.   No matter the breed.   It's expensive to feed a "pack" of guardian dogs.

And they got no clue how to fight as a pack, or fight together.   They'll fracture and the wolves will pick them off singly.
