Gorge Lakes fishing: The Skinny?
« on: January 29, 2020, 10:18:34 AM »
Has anybody fished some of the "unlisted" lakes in the Columbia River Gorge Scenic area?  By unlisted I mean those that aren't stocked and don't appear in the list of lakes on the rules pamphlet.  Off the top of my head, I'm thinking of the following:

Frog Lake (up behind Wind Mountain)
Grant Lake
Chamberlain Lake
Bass Lake (by Bonneville Dam)
Greenleaf Slough
Gillette Lake
Look Lake
Hewett Lake

I'm curious about these lakes and if they provide any fishing opportunity.  I've fished about every spot between Vancouver and Horsethief Lake except for these and Ashes Lake.  Worth the time?  Anything in them?

No experience but they should all have panfish. State regs would apply.
