What are you making for the Superbowl
« on: January 29, 2020, 01:26:00 PM »
I was thinking about some barbequed kabobs, smoked salmon and my "soon to be famous" elk burger sliders to go along with chips, salsa and homemade pickled beans.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

Providing beverages and smoked brisket sliders and slaw. Everyone else is bringing an appetizer to share. It is a great excuse to have people over...a little less stress with the Hawks not playing but still whish they were in it. Looking forward to the commercials too. Lame line-up for halftime but oh well. I love Super Bowl Sunday

Elk chili, topped with chopped sweet onions and a handful of shredded sharp cheddar, and, a big pan of honey cornbread. I think Mrs. Wapiti is pondering some finger snacks (Queso dip n; chips, sliced veggies n' cream cheese, not sure?).

I think I might do a moose roast on the Traeger or maybe moose burgers as they are a favorite with my wife and son.

I am lazy when it comes to sports watching food, probably pigs-n-blankets.  quick easy and bad for me!
If not that then nachos.
