insearch of english pointer
« on: March 27, 2020, 07:07:27 PM »
My family and I are looking for an English pointer puppy, would really prefer to find one in the pacific northwest. If you know of any litters already born or are coming soon I would love to know.

Don't know of any litters right now, but I do have a 6 year old finished male that would be looking for the perfect home.  He is a wild bird hunting machine.  He was added to our string of guide dogs at 9 months old and has not looked back.  Here is "Hank"

beautiful, unfortunately we are leaning toward a puppy/ younger dog to help soften our current dog aging fast.

For Hank, Finding the right home for him is more important then putting a price on him.  It is not that I have to sell him, but now that I am not guiding 80 plus days a year and still have 12 dogs. I would like to find the right person who will utilize his talents.  My thoughts are around $1,500.00 which is the cost of a good pup without any training. I turned down $40,000.00 for his Grandsire back in 2005. For me right now its about the right home not the $$$.
