Never have seen this before

Walked outside the new place Tuesday morning with a cup of coffee and saw this. 
i have seen a lot of birds on fences before. But never have seen this.

That’s pretty crazy. Never seen that before either.. one time in a crooked tree i saw a goose sitting on a big flat part. Never had seen that before either.

one time south of town, i seen a rooster pheasant run across the road, so as i pulled up i stopped and seen a few more pheasants. I got to looking harder and looked in this pine tree, and there were 8-10 pheasants sitting in the tree. I didnt know they would get in the trees, i guess i assumed they were ground dwellers

Put up a piece of plywood in that spot and they have a nesting platform.
You could watch a family of gees grow up, and potentially get attacked if you get too close!

In the eighties we used to put a lot of tubs in trees along the Yakima R. for years with local game wardens, they would nest in them every year. Not sure where that program went. Pheasants roost in trees at night everywhere, just like Turkey's

oh interesting, i did not know that about pheasants roosting in trees,  i can call it a day, i learned something new

At our work there is a little shack next to our chip bunkers where the controls are for the truck drivers to fill their chip trucks.  Every year a pair of geese nest on that shack and have their chicks.  It is raised off the ground so it's too high for the chicks when they start walking to go off and survive, so someone has to risk their lives from the mama to bring the chicks down.  It's pretty comical at times.

Thats my guess. I once saw a group of 5-7 pheasants on some power lines and thought how weird it was to see them up there. Then saw a coyote trotting along about a min later.
