You'll draw H for sure, but good luck on G.
6 for G is still in random territory so like 4% draw odds and H can't be drawn as a second choice.

G was 50 percent odds last year with 6 points. When I read through it I thought last years numbers showed some tags were given out in H for second choice. Rather have G anyways. If I dont draw I'll try to buy an idaho tag.

You must be referring to Special then? In the regular draw there was zero permits issued at 6pts. As for H, there are no tags available for a second choice. everything goes to first choice applicants.

Well good luck! I hope you guys get it. I dream of G but just can't stomach waiting 8+ years to get it  :'(   Sadly I'm expecting it to bump a full point again this year.

I think G creep will continue to climb as max point holders get frustrated with lack of lowl land, big buck options for the foreseeable future.

I bailed with 8 last year.  Meant to do it at 5/6 points, but got distracted with some big CO deer.

I drew H on 09/10 with zero points.   Had to do special with 3 to guarantee  a tag this year.

I agree.  H is still attainable as a random draw but I think even that is gonna go to single digits here in the near future. I'm in with 2 but with the way these other states are showing big spikes in applicants I'm not holding my breath on it be over 70% again  :'(

Hopefully I’ll be hunting G for the last time. I’m in the regular draw with 8 pts maybe 9. Can’t remember for sure🥴 :chuckle:

Totally agree.  I hunt unit K and it seems every one to two years it jumps another point to draw.

My dads hunted G a few times. Hes never done H. I know the area he loved to hunt the first 2 trips was flooded with people the third time he went. Time to find a new spot if we draw!

Well WY is my last chance at a tag this year. Hopefully I get lucky. One more week tell the draw.
