One big blackbear
«
on:
April 18, 2020, 06:14:17 PM »
Black bears seem to cause me the most trouble. They usually require a lot of form altering, a lot of sewing, and a good bath with lots of blow drying. But when they turn out looking this handsome, I'm reminded why I love this job.

That is an amazing mount and animal! Very nice work! If you don’t mind posting it, what does a mount like that cost? I’ve got a WA spring bear tag( fingers crossed) and an Idaho bear tag this year

My lifesize bears start at $3k. Idaho does it right, you got the option to use bait or hounds, should be fun! Best of luck!

You did a fantastic job on this bear. I really like the natural hang of the left arm. Very life like and looks like it's paused in motion. Hopefully that makes sense.
