I park at the trailhead , hike up the trail , down the valley for a couple miles , hang a left at the Y and head up the Hill a little more . Set up camp 100yards off the trail below the hillside I glass ( its within walking distance of a Lake ) . If your around that area stop in and say Hi . Have never seen another person after I hang the left .
Seriously this is where I hunt up there .
Anyone that thinks a Glock is better than a 1911 paints his toenails.

But your still on a trail
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I've bear hunted up there before. Chased a big one above that lake years ago.
