Blossom jelly

Anyone ever make apple or cherry blossom jelly? I saw a YouTube yesterday and still have some great apple blossoms and was going to send the kids out today to pick some. Cherries are unfortunately gone.

Was this on outdoor chef life ? I enjoy his videos and style of cooking. I’ve learned a lot and broadened my cooking horizons lol

Yeah, exactly.
I tried it, but haven't gotten it to gel yet. We only had freezer pectin and apparently there is a difference.

please let me know how it is. We have a huge cherry tree and I’d try it next year. I’m not sure what the regs are for bull kelp in Washington, but if I can I’d like to try some kelps pickles he made. One of the best catch and cook channels for sure.

Wild roses are about to bloom soon. People make jelly out of those blossoms. Practice for next year's cherries?
