Late Season GMU 239 Any Whitetail Tag

My son drew the GMU 239 Late Season Any Whitetail Tag.  Put in as his last tag, wanted to try sometime different.  I haven't been in this country since the fires.  Any thoughts about landowners that might like to have one less whitetail on their property or Public land areas?  We're starting from scratch so any info would help.  Thanks.
