even if each took 10 min. to do it seems very odd that they were able to process that many in 1 day.  :dunno:

I bought mine online at about noon. I somehow thought that they went on sale today instead of yesterday. I happened to drop by Hunt WA And saw all the guys talking about them being sold so I went online to my WDFW account and bought mine. Because I had planned on purchasing a surplus tag I had held off on selecting my deer tag , I didn’t have to turn it in to buy the multi season tag.

This has been beat to death, but seriously the solution fire this madness is to make everyone pony up for the tag at the beginning.  It would drastically improve draw odds too.  :twocents:

I bought one around 1:30 pm today by calling WDFW. They weren't sold out, they had just suspended sales until they figured out the mess the online sales created yesterday. I would call tomorrow and ask again.

Same issue I had because I still had to surrender my tag. I surrendered it over the  phone and bought a MS tag within 15 minutes. Dropped my old tag in the mail and should have the MS tag in 7 to 10 days.

I wonder how many hunters that put in for points only were able to purchase.  :dunno:

not sure if it says anywhere that they can't.

Have you guys tried to go into a vendor and swap tags? Every time I talked with WDFW I was told a different story so I sent my daughter into Bi-Mart today and she swapped my tag with no issues as long as you were in the draw.

It just says you had to have purchased an application. A points only application is still an application.

But then again it also says they will be sold first come first serve and apparently that isnt the case so who knows what they actually decide theyre doing.

I did
 wasn't meaning anything negative,i read it the same way:purchase is purchased.I meant more along the lines of changing minds or whatever.Seems like a good idea to put in for points only and build points especially if you're able to buy a leftover tag anyway.then down the road when things get even more jacked up with the system(like now sold in one day)you have better odds of drawing outright and not have to worry about getting one.   :twocents:
