Good predator hunting tv shows?
« on: December 20, 2020, 09:50:23 AM »
I was stuck in the stone ages up until last week. Stupid centurylink internet provider refused to run a wire a hundred yards so I could have internet at my house, so after switching cellular providers, buying a booster and a cellular router, I can now use the smart tv I bought 3 years ago to its full capabilities haha

So now I’m looking for some quality predator hunting programs. Specifically ones where you can learn some good stuff. I’ve watched a hundred shows where a guy sits in a field in Texas, hits the button on his e caller and shoots a coyote at the end of the episode. Fun to watch but I like to learn new tactics.

So if anyone knows any good ones or good YouTube channels I’d appreciate the info. I’ve also got YouTube tv, Hulu, amazon prime. Etc.

Thanks!

Predator Quest w/Les Johnson is a good one. Mainly coyotes but lots of stands, good commentary. Not sure if its still on but Foxpro Fur Takers was good too! Lot more diverse, had a lot of fox, yote, bobcat and night hunting.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

The Dog Soldier and Carnivore are a couple of others.  They both seem to give a few pointers each episode.

We like the Foxpro Fur Takers quite a bit, also like the MFK guys. Both are on YouTube.

“The last stand” on YouTube isn’t too bad.

Nother vote for Dog soldier.  They do a bit of pushing their calls in the intermissions, but he is really into yote hunting, and the passion shows.

Are the MFK guys using tamed yotes?   I've sinced some shenanigan from them,  I know they have tamed yotes and seen them petting a few on youtube,  but I wonder if they ain't calling different semi tamed yotes too.

I do like their vids, and the yotes do come in on a string

I heard Randy Anderson was doing Youtubes. With or without Primos I'm not sure, but he's sure a consummate Coyote guy.

Les Johnson (Predator Quest) is my other vote, if you're looking for tactics.

I don't think so, Torrey is raising 3 coyotes on a large piece of property, he's done a series on them growing up and their habits. A lot of the sounds he sells are coming from those coyotes. He does a lot of locating the night before then hunts them the next day. As with all shows editing helps, none of them show you the real grind, just the highlights.

Monday December 28th the Night Crew TV show on Sportsmans starts airing again. Best Predator hunting show, with Predator Pursuit just behind them.
I provide a service to cattle ranchers year around that have problem coyotes.  I also provide guided night hunts year around. I sell Night Vision and Thermal optics. The scopes I use are the NVision Halo XRF and Pulsar Merger XL50 LRF HD Binoculars
