Pearrygin Quality Buck
« on: November 06, 2020, 01:42:36 PM »
After 18 years I finally have a 224 permit in hand. I drew with a buddy of mine, he’s been hunting since the opener, I’m leaving Wednesday after work and staying as long as needed. Hopefully, after what looks to have been an awesome general season, you boys left a few bucks running around for us late season guys. Several years back my dad drew this hunt and we used his horses to get behind the gates to locate deer, I’m planning on doing the same since it doesn’t look like we are going to get much snow to help us out. Open to suggestions if anyone has some advise. Want to throw it out there to the other tag holders that if you need a hand or a good pack horse to look me up, I’m in a new white chev with a grey maverick gooseneck trailer, or send me a message. Good luck everybody looking forward to hearing about your hunts and hopefully posting a good story of my own.

Best of luck that used to be one of the best tags in the state.

Thank you, nice to know there are a few out there! My partner tagged out today on a good 3x4, we are headed over Wednesday night and will be hunting hard through the weekend. The weather looks great to get some of the big boys moving.

Good luck!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Good luck!  The weather should have them moving pretty good by the end of the week.

Started out day 1 seeing the biggest 3pt I’ve ever seen chasing does in the field by pearrygin creek at first light. We road the horses up the tripod road to the pearrygin creek washout glassing the whole way but only seeing a few small bucks. Hopefully this weather will get some big boys moving in.
