So, could I launch out of zittles or nisqually and expect to find some close by?  Do I just cruise around looking for bait on my electronics?

That I can't answer. One, I've never done it out of a boat. (Would like to)
and two, I've never fished south of Commencement Bay.

I don’t know about those areas, or if the South Sound has the numbers below the Narrows.  We used to do well at Longbranch dock but that was years ago.  From Redondo north it’s pretty loaded.  A lot of guys use there electronics to get on them.  They do move around a lot.

When I go out, I'll use rigs that allow you to run three jigs. I start with three different colors and switch to the one they like the most. The best haul with 3 jigs is 7 one one pull, but most of the time it's 1 or 2. It's a blast.
Took the daughter out when she was in kindergarten, she hauled in a really big one for here about 12 inches. She froze it on a foil tray and did a show and tell at school, all was fine until the teacher put it on the heat register you can imagine what happened.  :chuckle:

Is Edmonds doable with kids?  I checked out the facebook squid group and read about fights, cops, drunk guys and all sorts of fun.

Daylight hours are effective right now.  Maybe a better option for the kids.

Attention Dash Point Park & Pier Visitors: Due to the overcrowding on Dash Point Pier since squid fishing started, and given the governor’s updated COVID-19 safety rules, the pier will be closed to the public beginning November 24.

No squid for you.  Go to the mall instead I guess?

My co worker just gave me some.
What is the best breading or what do you put on them before frying?
