Fishing bait?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

It’s been really good this year.  Last week I limited in my float tube in the middle of the day.

I'd like to do it during the day with my kids.  How would I do that?  I'm in the south sound.

Day fishing works well. They're just a little more prone to being picky on what color jig you're using.

I’ve never noticed jig color to make a difference.  They should be anywhere there isn’t too much current.  40-70 feet during the day.  If it’s cloudy they’ll come in shallower.

Those jigs don’t work.  Buy local.  There’s a couple guys on eBay that sell Puget Sound squid jigs.  I like the ones with a metal twist in the middle for float tube squidding.

So, could I launch out of zittles or nisqually and expect to find some close by?  Do I just cruise around looking for bait on my electronics?
