Parkerized - Manganese Phosphate

Yes, it’s time to get that manganese phosphate finish you always wanted. Why? Because you love it and you don’t want to see your beloved with a layer of brown rust after the next hunting season.
I can accommodate your long items in my 40” x 6” x 6” tank.

That and a lot of gunsmiths don't want to deal with the chemicals in the bluing process

Bear in mind only steel parts can be parkerised, aluminum cannot be parkerised. And depending on the hardness of said steel the coloring can lighten such as around the breach on a barrel or hard face of a bolt
