Finally after 3 years
« on: December 03, 2020, 08:38:18 PM »
Well been watching this buck for three years and on December first he finally slipped up! Three years of game camera pictures of this guy and he never once showed himself in the daylight! Well here’s the story of his demise.. I got into the blind around 1 pm and had been sitting there till about 3 when a lone Doe came in she skirted around my blind and started blowing for about 10-15 minutes and I figured man no deer are going to come in now well fast forward to 350 I could hear some deer running towards the blind and at about 100 yards out three does go by hauling ass and I see this guy following right behind them I don’t know what made the does turn but they took a hard right and came by my blind at 15 yards I immediately drew my bow when they were out of sight and then boom here he comes out at 15 yards and I let the slicktrick eat clean pass through maybe went 30 yards

Congrats! that is a great buck.  You are a more patient man than I.
I struggle to stay in one place I am always wanting to move probably booting deer to the people staying put.  :chuckle:
