Anyone know a guide on the peninsula for a couple days of steelhead around the holiday?

Mike Z, Bob Kratzer, and Jim Mansfield.   I would fish with Jerry if he is available.  I have fished with Mike and he is a pro.  Mansfield is probably booked for the next 3 years

I wouldn't recommend Mansfield.  I've fished with him twice.  Yes he catches tons of chrome every year.  But all he wants to do is pull plugs.  Thats just not my style of fishing.

I’ll be out there next week, will let you know how it goes.

One of several landed with George Rose.

These guys need our support especially with the potential for a full closure coming. Hopefully a balanced solution can be reached.

Good luck getting a spot with George LOL, kinda the same with guys like Mike Z so you have to work yourself into the circle :) Be a good sportsman, listen to your guide, and be a semi consistent client.  The great guides can chose who they fish with and they love doing this so why not chose your clients? Our OLY PENN guides are some of the best in the world, as are these rivers.  Well worth booking!  You will learn more in one day than 4 yrs of college, trust me!
