For anyone interested, I went with the Weatherby Weathermark LT. My main requirement was keeping the weight to under 6 pounds and trying to stay around that $2,000 mark, while getting whatever the most weatherproof features I could get (cerakote, titanium, synthetic stock, etc). I listed every model under or at 6 pounds of all the brands I could find between Cabela's and GrabAGun. I've already got it in hand and boy am I satisfied. It's a beauty and the weight is quite shocking. I've got a Z5 3.5-18x44 on the way and if I can find any damn ammunition, I'll hopefully be getting out to zero by next weekend
I dont know how they make these rifles so lite. I got a Tikka t3 superlite and its heavier then all of them
