Spring bear, 2021, Draw Run...REDRAW!
« on: January 31, 2021, 08:33:00 AM »
Been awhile since I hunted bears with intent.  Have 7 points going in and hoping to spend some time in Kelly Hill. Any color phase unless it's a baby gets a bullet on day one.

I'm all in.
Still got enough reloading components to make it happen.
Huckleberry\49
Anybody that does draw better be ready to make it happen .
Never know how long spring bear season will last.
Don't have 7 points but still want a tag.

Drew Huckleberry last year, had a blast. Missed one bear and saw another 25-30. Hoping to piggyback off a buddy's 3 points this year!

H20 I'd be glad to show you around Huckleberry or 49 Degrees north if you'll let me mooch off those points too :chuckle:

I put all my eggs in one basket. The plan is to draw, let Dale advise on bear movement and be ready to roll on pto at short notice.  I've not cashed in my free hunt as a mod so banking on that.

I've got my name in the hat.  DNRY.  :chuckle:
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Crossroad year for me.  I’ve been storing points waiting for a particular area to get tags.   Now I have lots of points, and no vaca time.   Hmmmm

If you get drawn PM me later I'd swing by your camp have a beer w you.

Some areas are devoid of bears that used to always carry loads of bear.

Make sure you're seeing fresh sign.

Haven't bought license yet, waiting to be on top of the draw bucket this year.  Cameras will deploy early April or as access allows.  See if I can put the shaft to one.    :archery_smiley:

Geck ya, arrowing a bear in WA without bait would be a good accomplishment 👍

Seen a couple nice ones last year that took a liking to new alfalfa and a wild strawberry patch.   ;)

it happens every year that people don’t draw bear w 7, but I’d be shocked if you don’t draw.
